This change comes because of the shrinking of the institutional church and closure of many churches. Resources are being consolidated as careful attention is paid towards churches that have small worshipping communities.
Reconfiguration also means that several new churches have been added to our District. As a way to begin this new journey, our District has prepared a couple videos to describe the 69 churches and give us a glimpse of each of them. Here is one we share for you to enjoy: VIDEO – LAKE NORTH DISTRICT

The District is also planning a Lake North District Worship and Picnic on Sunday, Sept. 19th. Time & location have not been determined yet, but please add the date to your calendar, if you think you will be able to join.
