Have you looked outside? It is gorgeous! The colors, the sun, the leaves on the ground- all are such a beautiful reminder of the seasons and their importance in our lives, and for the survival of all things.
While the colors are beautiful, the season is also a reminder that this year is fast coming to a close. So, a few reminders to you for the rest of the year-
Next Sunday, Oct 30th, we will observe All Saints Sunday! We invite you to share the names of your loved who you would want to be included in the bulletin.
On that Sunday, we will also participate in the neighborhood “Trick or Treat” event. So, I am looking for candy donations- individually wrapped treats only please! I will also need some volunteers who will be willing to stand outside of the church and give our treats to all the neighborhood kids.
November will be our “Stewardship Month.” On the last Sunday of the month, November 27th, we will invite your pledges and financial commitments for the year 2023. This information will help us in preparing our budget.
The office will be closed on Nov 24-25 for Thanksgiving!
On Saturday, November 26th, we will have the “Hanging of the Greens” with fellowship and food afterwards!
Nov 27th is also the First Sunday of Advent, so we will enter into that season of preparation and anticipation of the remembering the coming of Christ child into our world!
Finally, on Wednesday, December 7th we will have our in-person Annual Church Conference with our District Superintendent leading us.
Please mark your calendars so you won't miss out on any of these activities. Participate in all you can, and first things first- remember, I need treats donations this Sunday and following week! Please be generous and help us!
