Dear Broadway Family,
Some of you may be very happy to know that we are planning to open the building for in-person hybrid worship starting Sunday, November 7th, which is also when Daylight Saving ends, so be mindful of the time change!
If you plan to be at church for worship, remember to sign up by using this link. Here are some things to remember:
Those who plan on not coming to in-person worship will remain on zoom, just like every Sunday. Nothing changes for you.
November 7th is also All Saints Sunday! We will light a candle for every 100,000 folk that have died of COVID in our country, and as every year, we will light candles for our loved ones who have joined the great cloud of witnesses. If you wish to name your saints, please use this link to share the name with us.
In addition, November is also Native American Heritage month. To honor the heritage of Native Americans, our student Intern Pip has scheduled a concert on Friday, November 19th at 6:30pm by a Native American flute player and pianist, of Anishinaabe/Algonquin/Metis. Bill Bucholtz has been playing Native Flute for over 30 years and loves to share that gift as much as possible. We hope you will be able to join us in person. We will also be sharing it virtually.
Beloveds, I look forward to having some of you in the sanctuary on November 7th for worship and hope to have that number increase as time goes by. In the meantime -- if you are eligible for a booster, please get that, and take all necessary precautions to keep yourself, and those around you, safe. If we all do our part, we can learn to manage this virus and safely live with it.
May God continue to bless you, and remember, I am always with you in the work of justice. I look forward to seeing you in worship this Sunday!
