I have to admit that until about 2 months ago I knew nothing about “All Living Things Environmental Film Festival- (ALTEFF) based in India. A friend introduced me to it and I was impressed by the work they are doing- so I decided we would host a film screening on July 14th at 11am.
OK- so an honest question- are any of you getting worried? May be you are not- but I am! I don’t know what the supreme court will do next? Here are some of the headlines I have seen/heard in this week-
This morning has been hard on many of us. You may have heard by now that Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, taking away the right of people to control their bodies and anything that happens to them.
This Sunday is Juneteenth! The day in 1865 when US federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to take control of the state and finally ensure that all African Americans were freed.
