HYMN SING REHEARSAL

 Join ONE Northside for a lobby day in Springfield on Wednesday, February 26th. Illinois is facing a $3 billion shortfall. The federal government is slashing funding that support critical services and programs in our communities. At the same time, IL is leaving $5 billion on the table in corporate tax loopholes. We need to show up and make sure our state legislators and governor do not balance the budget on the backs of poor, working, and middle-class families. Join us on Feb. 2/26 from 5:30am-7pm. Registration is now open for the 2025 Lobby Day in Springfield which will be held on Wednesday, May 7th. The Illinois Great Rivers Conference is joining with us this year to make this a state-wide United Methodist Lobby Day to show our united commitment to racial justice and equity. If you are interested in attending, please click here to complete the Registration Form and click here to complete the Legislator Visit Form. Bus transportation is limited; therefore, we encourage you to register immediately. For those who register, please also save-the-date for the Lobby Day Orientation on Monday, March 3rd from 7-8:30pm and a Training Session on Saturday, April 26th from 9-10:30am.

GETTING TO BROADWAY CHURCH​​​​​​​

We have a small parking lot off of Buckingham to the rear of the church that you are welcome to use when attending church functions. There is also metered parking and street parking nearby, but please note permit parking restrictions. The 36 bus stops near our front door, and we are about a 10-15 minute walk from either the Belmont or Addison el stations. You can get driving directions or public transportation options here. COMMUNITY & CONNECTION SUNDAY

On the first Sunday of every month, Communion and Community Sunday, Broadway celebrates God’s expansive welcome with a communion service, welcoming all to God’s table. We also use this opportunity to do some special celebrations of the Broadway community—celebrating birthdays for the upcoming month and giving a special welcome to visiting friends and family. We will continue to celebrate visitors every Sunday, but we especially encourage the Broadway congregation to use Communion and Community Sundays as a chance to issue a special invitation to friends and family to join us in celebrating that we are all beloved children of God.
