This week we continue to explore the Mission Statement of the United Methodist Church, “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world” focusing on ‘for the transformation of the world.’
Who knows what is the Mission Statement of the United Methodist Church? That’s right! It is- “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” And just like any Mission/Vision statement- most of us don’t remember it- because it is just not frequently mentioned! So, in August- our sermons series will be focused on the Mission and Vision statement of the denomination.
Some of you may know that I recently took a pottery class! I have to say, I loved it, and, I was challenged by it! I loved it because I have been wanting to do this for a long time because I thought it would be a fun activity outside my routine.
