• This past Sunday we looked at the story in John 1:29-42 in which John the Baptist points two of his disciples in the direction of Jesus. When Jesus notices them following, he asks, “What are you looking for?” To which they respond with another question, “Where are you staying?” Jesus tells them to “Come and see.”


  • Matthew 3:13-17 is the well-known passage of Jesus getting baptized by John in the Jordan River. As I read this, I keep asking myself “Why did Jesus need to be baptized?”


  • As we welcome the year 2020, I am reminded of the roller coaster of emotions the year 2019 has been- some of brought a smile to our faces but many were challenging, that have had a toll on our lives -- as individuals and as a church.
